Bobtails Baby and Toddler Group is a play and support group for parents, grandparents, carers and their children from birth until school age. We offer free play with other children of similar age, with a variety of toys and activities which may include a baby area, a book area, messy play, arts & crafts, and equipment for physical development from soft play through to ride-ons and push-alongs. Snacks and water are provided for little ones with tea/coffee for grown-ups. Towards the end of each session we share a story and singing together.
Bobtails is at the Cotton Hall (next to Saint Andrews Church, Girton) on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 11:30 during school term. There is parking available at the recreation ground. All children must be accompanied by an adult and remain their responsibility throughout the session.
We suggest a voluntary donation of £2.50 per session - there's no need to book!
Our regular attendees include not only mums and dads but also grandparents, nannies, au pairs and child minders of all ages and many nationalities. For parents and carers we provide tea, coffee and a chance to meet up with other like-minded adults.
